The TIFFA scan, also referred to as the fetal anomaly scan or USG Level II test. The purpose of the procedure is to obtain comprehensive anatomical data about the baby's growth and development. The purpose of this scan is to find any congenital anomalies. Pregnant women whose unborn children may have birth abnormalities may consider this test based on standard ultrasound results. Level 2 ultrasound measures the length of the placenta and cervix, as well as the quantity of amniotic fluid present and any abnormalities in the fetus. This test is essential for determining the foetus's growth and health as well as for diagnosing congenital defects. The transducer is moved over the skin by the sonographer as the gel is applied to the lower abdomen. Usually, all that needs to happen for the developing child's image to show up on the screen is for the transducer to be simply dragged over the skin to finish the scan. It gauges the length of the baby's cervical fluid. It appears as a black fluid beneath the skin.
